My gosh. i have somewhat abandoned this blog have i not...... hahahaa... Anyway i have been super tired and i think i am badly in need of a good rest! Work is tiring but fulfilling so far, hope it stays this way!!

Anyway here are pictures of Mr Gorilla's Thaipusam 2006.... I have been waiting for this day because i have always wanted to see this but no one brought me or see with me. So this year, i was thrilled when Mr Gorilla told me he will be doing it!! I was informed to park myself at Mr Bean's cafe at around 330pm-4pm because that will be the time when he will walk past that area....... Ah Meow, Donovan and i got a table outdoors and waited till he walked past.

I kept telling ah meow that i think i wouldnt recognise him if he walks past because everyone seemed to look the same, hairy moustache, beard and all. And she was the one who spotted him first! I was like, "Is that him?? Really??!" Lol.

So both of us abandoned Don (without realising of course) and ran after Mr Gorilla, papparazzi style. There was some road works going on JUST outside the cafe so Ah Meow and i had to take photos of him from behind the barriers. So sad. Anyway, i think both of us got too excited trying to take a good shot of him that i pressed the video button instead of the camera mode and she could not catch a frontal shot of him. Sigh............. Saw Gorilla's best friend, Sid the walking disaster and chatted with him for a while before i went back to the empty table with Don silently guarding our bags.......

Just then, little Miss Bunny called me to tell me that she saw him across the street........ Amazing how she recognised him, beard, spikes and all......... Seems like a really long time since Bunny and i met so we chatted for a while and Don was super shocked to know that she was a JC TEACHER and not a Primary school teacher as what he intially thought!

Later on, both of us walked to the temple opposite UE Square (while some people thought it was the temple at Chinatown for some fantastic reason) and waited outside the entrance till Ah Zai and Shush appeared..... after going to the wrong temple. Waited for Gorilla to remove his kavadi and i thought i was going to faint halfway because the spike that went through his cheek was stuck!! So his uncle had to use some water to remove it......... Scary........

Had to wait for a while until his friends and relatives stopped fawning over him and said hello to him. He was super shocked to see me because he didnt notice me around at all!! Hmmm.. and to think i was wearing a lime green blouse. Look like traffic light ok. Anyway, he obliged to take a photo with me (although i thought that he wouldnt allow) and the rest of us left for dinner shortly afterwards........

Gotta go and sleep now!! My dark eye circles are getting worse!!! AAArrggggghhhhhh........ how to cure them har??!
