Dinner with Bunny and Chinki

Bunny had arranged with me for gym and dinner initially but now, my boss (or rather the office people) have voted to come in to work from 9-6pm instead of the earlier 8.30-5.30pm timing. So i cant make it for any more 630 gym classes anywhere so i could only meet Bunny for dinner. Halfway through the day, i remembered that Chinki was on leave for the whole of this week but i only remembered to call her at 6 plus to ask her at super short notice to meet for dinner.

Met at Scotts Food Court because i told Bunny to go for a budget dinner. Must say that the food there is quite boring (but then again, which eating places in town has nice and cheap food?! - Maybe Cuppage lar.) Ended up with my usual chai peng fare and listened to poor Bunny rant about her mum who didnt want to cook dinner for her because she felt that it was more work to do!! Bunny ranted for so long that i thought her food was getting cold and i had to remind her to put the food into her mouth instead of just yakking away. She was still hungry as usual after woofing down her fishball noodles and ate some of my leftover sweet and sour pork that i didnt finish (had a super late Pizza Hut delivery lunch in office at 3.30pm!!).

While one of us was yakking about something, suddenly we noticed all the men around our tables staring at someone or rather something behind me and Chinki. Bunny then informed us that this woman wearing this lime green jacket was super boobsy and it was just the only thing that you see! But i turned around too late and all i caught was a little of her side view and i thought it was huge! The 2 men beside us were super hum sup (pervert in Cantonese) and you could practically see the drool coming out of their mouth when they saw her. Please lor uncle, it is so big that you dont need to buy support pillow already. It is practically a mini water bed can.

Us 3 then decided to hang out at Wheelock's NYDC for drinks and i was very surprised that none of us ordered any dessert! I decided on my usual hot drink - camomile tea (which Bunny has bombastically changed the name to Camimomo tea) but it tasted and smelt exactly like Colgate toothpaste! It was so bad that i refused to drink it anymore after 3 sips. Adding some honey didnt salvage the terrible taste and smell either. Halfway through, i realised that i had 2 missed calls from Ah Zai and found out that their group didnt win the prizewinning $3,000 StreetArts competition and the 4 of them were super sad! TCL said he wanted to cry but he couldnt, while Ah Zai said he wanted to jump into the dirty Singapore River nearby and Gaz just wailed to me over the phone while i heard the rest order Milo Dinosaur over the phone. Mr Sarcastic apparently left early because his darling gf picked him up after the presentation.

Apparently, when the MC or whoever was the host at that presentation asked the crowd, "Who do you think will win the prize??" The crowd said confidently, "Group C!!!" (which is their group lar) but after the results were announced, the MC still could say, "Hahahaha, lucky never buy Toto har, otherwise you will sure lose one!!"

Talk about being a good host and being funny. Geez.

Anyway, back to the 3 Bunnies outing. Basically we didnt do much that night, just sat there and chatted till 930pm when Bunny felt sleepy and she decided to take a cab home. When we were downstairs, i decided to call the StreetArts people to ask if they were still at Boat Quay, and while i was on the phone to Ah Zai and Bunny was deciding outloud whether she should take the bus or cab, she decided to be possesive suddenly and barked at me, "Can you at least say byebye to me first before i go??!"

After Bunny left, Chinki and i were walking to the dark and scary bus stop at Paterson but after taking barely 5 steps from where we left Bunny, i told Chinki that i wanted to go Borders! Actually i also dunno why i wanted to go there, but just felt like it. After hanging around for a long time and staring at a $45 Gorillaz dvd that i wanted to get (but its sooooooooo ex!!) we decided to share a cab home. Before we reached the taxi stand at Liat Towers, there were only 2 people waiting at the stand, but just before we could reach the queue, suddenly 3 groups of people barged out of no where and joined the queue........ in front of us! So after waiting for some time and seeing that there was a huge shortage of cabs at that time, we decided to take a bus. Yes, from the dark and scary bus stop at Paterson. Backfire man.

Just met up with Mr Tall (aka Sexy or Gorilla) for a super late dinner, now i need to sleep! ZZzzzzzzz...... will update on that tomorrow..... hopefully.
