3rd August 2005 - Wednesday

Met up with Chinki at Far East Plaza, or rather Scotts Coffee Bean for dinner because she was craving for the delicious caesar salad there. Was quite keen to eat it but for some reason, i lost my appetite and i ate barely half of it! So obviously, i was still hungry and we went to Gelare to bum and lounge around. Chinki was feeling super adventurous that day and wanted to go to Jalan Kayu to eat prata after i told her that i was driving! But i wasnt feeling up to it and decided to just walk back to Far East.

At Gelare, we had a waffle and mudpie each and we could not stop laughing for the whole night. And obviously complete with a mini bitching session. Think i must have laughed too much or i didnt have enough sleep or something, because i had a horrible headache! So we called it a day by 930pm and went home to konk out!

And for some reason, i dunno why i started calling Chinki a chappati and she called me a pappadom! So i defended myself by saying that at least i was the hard one while she was soft...... ok, really crappy.

4th August 2005 - Thursday

Bought an internal 160GB hard drive to fix into my computer because my computer was extremely slow and i had to switch on my computer first and go off to bathe. And it will settle down nicely when im out of the bath. So slow lor... Wanted to get an external hard drive, but i thought the casing was huge and ugly for $69 so i didnt want to pay for that. And convinced myself to get an internal one to save on big $$$. And besides, it should be easy to fix it in since i managed to upgrade the memory on my own last time.

Wrong. Big time.

I opened up my CPU and i could not find anywhere to fit it in and there were cables running all over the place. After staring at it for a super long time, and feeling stressed out from it, i decided to call Ah Zai for help. He was half asleep when i called (at about 11pm) and screamed at him that i could not fix up my stupid hard drive. Wanted to just pay for the stupid $69 to get the external casing so that it will save me all the trouble, but Ah Zai convinced me that it will be quite slow and it would be better to fix it internally. After we decided that he will help me to fix that, we started to yakk for a while, and i think i was too sleepy because i started mumbling rubbish like, "So Ah Zai, you coming to my place tomorrow to help me put it in??"

I didnt realise how porno it sounded until he started laughing and telling me that it sounded sooooo wrong. This is bad man.... whats wrong with me!

Miss What called in the afternoon to say that she would be in Park Mall and wanted to meet us while shopping for some furniture for work. Had this impression that she was going to have dinner with us, but after 2 of us arrived, she told us that she had a fish dinner at home for her! But we dragged her to dinner with us anyway and i parked in Park Mall for a good $2 for about.... 15 mins?? Decided to makan at River Valley Road and have the delicious Chicken Briyani at the MaMa store. But the uncle informed us that it was sold out!!! Ah Zai and i were so sad but i decided on some prata anyway and shared some rojak with Miss What.

Dropped Miss What at Far East bus stop before proceeding back home to "put it in". It must have been quite late by then because after Ah Zai managed to fix it and get it working, it was 1am!!! He practically pulled out the hard drive at least 3-4 times before it managed to work because he could not understand what he did wrong! Turned out that there was a different way to fix it for windows xp. There was a set of instructions to use in msdos, but when we got there, we tried every possible combination but it still could not work! So fed up. But anyway it managed to work by 1am and it was definately too late for him to get home by public transport so i thought it was better that he stay the night. Since i was sleeping in my mum's room with my brother (so that its much easier to wake him up at 6am) and my bed was empty.

Ah Zai tried to be funny by telling me to go online to MSN to see if any of the longan gang members were online, and to tell them that he was in my bed! I totally refused to do that. Anyway, spent the rest of the morning stealing songs from each other's poddy using this fantastic program called iPoddy and looked through some photos. By then, it was 5am! Time to sleep!!! But i had to wake up at 6am to send my brother to school.... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

Went to work feeling like a zombie but for some strange reason, i managed to keep quite awake for the whole day! There were a few moments where i was not doing anything mind provoking like drawing repeated lines for my perspectives or not thinking of my work, that i nearly just closed my eyes and konked off! Luckily managed to stop myself.

5thAugust 2005 - Friday

Met up with CMI and Sarcastic Guy for dinner at Cuppage where both Sarcastic Guy and me were taunting CMI with bitchy comments the whole dinner! The best part came when i was stoning for a while after commenting that CMI had a lot of white hairs suddenly appearing on his head, and he was going on about how stressed he was at work, hence how he got them. And Sarcastic Guy suddenly went, "Why dont u just go and dye (your hair)!" But obviously it sounded like, "Why dont u just go and die!" And i was so shocked that he was saying that because it was so unlike him and CMI was just dumbfounded holding a fried baby squid midway with his chopsticks and his mouth gaped open. Only then, did Sarcastic Guy realise that he made a boo-boo and corrected himself. Scared me half to death lor.

Was obviously feeling the after effects of not sleeping enough by then and i decided to make my way to Macs to da-pao something for my brother (who is forever hungry) and while i was there, dunno why the 2 of them were saying that S.G was CMI's pimp and they were bringing him to Hotel 81 to sell him off there. Wonder what happened after that. Hmmmm.....
