Lost inspiration...

Have absolutely no mood to do any work in the office now… Just lost my interest and im just sitting here and staring blankly at the computer screen and the catalogue. My fingers just refused to move the mouse in the black empty autocad screen so I figure, if I cant get any work done, I shall type a bit. Hopefully I get my inspiration to start work again.

It seems that I wake up to my parents loud conversations in the mornings… ever since Daddy came home. Yesterday, it was about my dad trying to change his flight from Sat to Sun. And he found out that he had to pay HK$500 [ ~ SGD$90 ] to change his SQ flight because his fare is under a promotional price. This morning, its about feng shui. He told me that for those born in the year of the Rooster, the 3 “animals” best to work with are… the Ox, Snake and Dragon. My office already has 2 Oxes [Meow and Lady Boss] but no snake or dragon. White Lion is a Rabbit… only know how to look cute, and act cute. Haha… So basically… these are the Rooster’s allies.. Wah…. So cute one hor… And that it’s best to wear a sapphire ring for this year… I have been wearing the sapphire ring that my mum passed to me everyday ever since I fell down and sprained my ankle. Not taking any more chances! So scary!! Haha….

Supposed to meet Gaz, CMI and Ah Zai tonight… for dinner. Brought 2 books for Ah Zai but forgot to bring the stuff that I am supposed to pass to him originally!! So have to go back home to take the CSI dvds… and apparently he forgot to bring the stuff for the rest of them as well… Been long overdue from Chinese New Year ok………

Went to a “certain printing shop” beside Bras Basah Complex during lunch today, to get namecards printed for bosses. When meow and I walked inside the shop, the girl at the far end of the shop saw us, but only walked over to us when I called her. Nevermind. She walked over, and I told her, I want to print some namecards. Without a word, she walked back to the end of the shop! 1 min later, she comes back, and after seeing the floppy disc in my hand, she said in the most deadpan voice.

“ Sorry, we cannot open floppy disc. We have mac computers here only. You can try other shops at Bras Basah. “

Wah, after I tell u that I want to print namecards, you walk away then come back later to tell me that you cannot open my file because IT’S A FLOPPY DISC?? Peng san.

So meow and I walked over and found a shop where the service was 10X better and cheap. But on the way back to the office in the cab, my boss calls to tell me that I need to add in the White Lion’s personal email add in his namecard!! After he has seen a zillion of my namecard drafts!! Anyway, too late. I called the printers and they said they have started the printing already. Stupid rabbit.

Ok, back to work!! Hopefully… And I cannot stop sneezing today. Either I have caught a cold in this blazing hot weather, or someone has been thinking of me for the whole day…. Hahahahaha…
