looooooonggg entry..

the whole world has been asking me to update my blog.. haha.. actually not the whole world lar, but everyone who reads my blog are dying to get an update... wahahhaha...

first of all, i have been really busy since my last entry, hence why i have not blogged for so long. have either been busy at the gym (which i only go twice a week nowadays actually so i have been really lazy), or busy selling my barang barang online or busy watching movies. caught quite a few movies lately...

alfie - with bunny. hilarious but a really emotional film. i could actually feel my heart wrenching at some parts of the movie and i really felt for alfie's best friend's gf. gosh.. i can't imagine that happening to anyone. the feelings that character went through was pure shit man....

finding neverland / friday - excellent show! caught it with iad gang, cj, pat, liting, jacq and zaihan. was supposed to meet up then to watch "guiness comedy night" with kumar and hossan leong but we found out that tickets were sold out on the day itself! miffy, zaihan, jacq and i were shocked and a little disappointed (or at least i was!) at that but we decided to meet anyway. miffy decided to go home to get dinner first and meet us later, but after our dinner, she said she didnt want to watch "finding neverland", though i tried to convince her that it's a good show, but the stubborn miffy kept saying no.

anyway, after our cheapo dinner at marina square's foodcourt, we bought tickets for our show and jacq brought us to esplanade to see the free hip-hop performance at the open air amphitheatre. lets just say it was free for a reason. so we escaped and walked back to marina to catch johnny depp and kate winslet. i really loved their english accent and how polite they were. guess the best days were the good old days.

the excitment came only after i hopped onto the bus to get home.. liting called me to ask if i had seen dead fish's car keys..... i was like... "har???" she then explained that dead fish lost his car keys and could not find them. anyway, he only found it after a long frantic search around the whole marina square. the keys were in the door key hole. but he didnt know if he left it there or he dropped it and someone put it back there. thank god no one drove off with his parent's car! phew!

shall we dance / saturday - also with bunny. had a subway sandwich for lunch before watching the movie at cineleisure. i couldn't take my eyes off lopez's infamous butt and i kept whispering to bunny, "oh my god! her butt so big!!" but i later concluded that actually her butt is not that big... i think her 3 inches heels pushed her butt to higher levels and hence, the humgonous butt. pretty cute movie though.

did a little window shopping before heading to ngee ann city to catch the jam x finals, to cheer stentorian on.. stentorian happens to be bunny's lover's band. their band consists of : -

iylia or eeeeeee-yer - frontman / lead singer
sings well and also quite cute. very charismatic and manages to get the crowd moving and roaring. or maybe the crowd happens to be all their friends who are cheering them on. he shoved a panasonic lumix digital cam to me and requested that i take like, 200 photos of their band performing. you just can't say no to such a charismatic guy. aww... hahahaha......

the second good looking one in the group and when an amp blew in the middle of their song, he looked flabbergasted but continued with his playing with a serious face.

samuel aka hunky bunky - keyboards
the 3rd not bad looking one in the group but apparently from what i heard, has no taste in women. hahaha! was spotted wearing a white stentorian t shirt with baby pink bands around the sleeves. also was the one who suggested the group gets uniforms and that their shirts should be pink..... and......... wanted the tag line "tighter than tight" printed at the back of their shirts! good lord.... sounds like a tagline to a porn site lor....

bass guitar guy - dunno his name le
plants himself in between iylia and hunky bunky on stage and occassionally spotted singing. tried to get some shots of him n sam but he moved too much. now i know how bunny feels when she takes photos of me...

indonesian guy, also dunno his name - drums
was wonderfully camoflauged by his humongous drums the whole time and the only photo i got of him was just a few strands of his hair and the drum set. wailed to bunny that i could not get a shot of him no matter where i stood and found out that she had the same dilemma.

ah zai was supposed to get to taka by 6pm but only arrived at 8pm when i told him that stentorian's set was at 8. opps.... he nearly missed them and got there just in time and commented, "wow! they are good!" and snapped some shots of the band. dragged him to the front and we were happily enjoying the gig when suddenly, three-quarters into their "fancy girl" song, the host came on stage to say that the judges are letting them sing again because the sound system was very very bad. gosh, what took them so long to realise. anyway, i didnt mind as i could watch them again.... heh heh... i have to say that iylia is really good with the crowd and very spontaneous on stage...

bunny had to do something a little bimbotic after their set in front of ah zai but never mind, better not say. she also said something cute but bimbotic before i went to taka. something about her necklace dropping down....... :D

stentorian didnt win for the night though and i was really shocked. they came in fourth but won "best original song" award. stentorian........ you totally totally rock!
