insomia...

its like... 5.25am now and i cant sleep at all. feeling wide awake and drowning myself in camomile tea... hopefully able to konk me to sleep. decided to pack my room in time for chinese new year in 2005 (yes folks. i am that messy. i have to start packing and organising my room so much in advance. considering that Chinese new year will be on the 9th Febuary.)

anyway, i packed out all the clothes that i dont wear anymore and even sorted them out in piles... of pants/blouses/warm clothes. after sorting them out, i still could not sleep! so i decided to start packing my study table. found LOADS of stuff that i thought had disappeared into the (Bermuda Triangle) in my room... found some pony stuff that belongs to my friend... just as well cause im meeting my friend later at 12pm.. dunno if i can make it. and of course my old nokia 6510 handphone... my really good back up phone with a cmi screen at the moment. just have to find the colourful covers that i used to have.... read through some of my old sms-es that i kept since the start of this year... laughing at them as i read.. brings back good n bad memories though.. hehz. but i think im getting over it, cause it doesnt seem to hurt as bad anymore. :) time to pack more of my room!!! wahahahahaha... conquer them all!!

also had sudden inspiration to shift some of my furnitures in my room. only around my study table lar. nothing much. thinking of adding some new shelves and maybe one more top hung cabinet. but then again... guess not. hmmm... feature wall in my room as well??? ......................

had a pleasant surprise to hear from my really really old friend called ann-marie... i knew her back in secondary school, when i had stupid mandarin tuition at pinetree club and we got close cause of a common topic : bitching about our irritating mandarin tuition teacher. who apparently gave up on us as well. hahahah... had a friendster request from one of liting's "jie mei" through email, and when i logged in, i was shocked to see 4 new friend requests!! and ann-marie was one of them... she left me her hp no and im hoping to catch up with her soon one of these days!!


the hectic wedding day on xmas day~

i was supposed to wake up at like... 6.30am to reach liting's house at jurong west st 41 at 7.30am but i just could not make it out of bed. decided to just reach there on time at 8am when the bridegroom fetches her. luckily... i decided to call ah zai at like.. 7.10am who also apparently overslept! and he hurriedly rushed out of his house and managed to get there to film the guys over at liting's place. meantime, i got lost in jurong, so i only reached there at like... 8.05am. oh well. i also got lost getting to her house, was confused and managed to get inside before the bridegroom and the "brothers" barged into the house.

i missed quite a lot of the action like pat and the rest drinking milo with a raw egg!! and i vaugely heard guiyuan - the ah beng singing a few lines. the "brothers" then came upstairs and of course there was the haggling of the ang pow for the "sisters" but..... patrick had a grand plan!! he apparently had the key to liting's house. n he just conveniently used that to open the door... geez. it was hilarious though cause i think no one expected that.

after the tea ceremony, we had to dash to pat's place... nearby thank god, but all of us were shut out from there and i was left downstairs with the rest of the "sisters" and "brothers". we ended up taking photos with the wedding car.. which happened to be the mazda rx7 (the sports car one lar i cant remember the no)... just hanged around and listened to kelvin the policeman talk crap. he was asking "the teeeehhh one" about her bf and she confessed that she was no longer with him. later hans asked her why she likes the bad boys and tried to convince her to go out with "the ah beng". he said that "the ah beng" just looks beng and bad boy, but actually he has a good heart... i couldnt help laughing at that though i secretly knew that it was true... :D

when the couple came down again, we had to dash off to pat's grandparents house.. somewhere in bukit panjang. pat was happily driving the sports car and switching lanes like nobody's business. pretty scary as i had to follow suit in my giant blocky car, while the black honda civic (hans), grey toyota corolla (cj aka dead fish), champagne gold benz (han's parents car driven by the ah beng). there was a small buffet spread at the grandparents house after the usual tea ceremony... and i was in charge of taking candid shots of everyone... except me lar. but... i was clever enough to leave the digital camera in the car!! ahh... anyway, after that, it was followed by photography session at boat quay area... people seemed amused to see them taking photos on xmas day and this 2 young girls came to take photo with liting!! i forgot to mention that liting looked absolutely gorgeous that day with her 2 beautiful gowns... so i guess it is true that all brides looked beautiful on their wedding day?? hmm....

we decided to take photos at the big fat bird at boat quay, but by then, everyone was exhausted. i was contented to just sit there and shoot all the candid shots... pat treated us to drinks at macs (!) and liting had to drag her flowy can-can white gown into macs. so glam. as we were leaving boat quay, we saw an ang moh guy dressed up as santa and his gf as an angel!! everyone was laughing like crazy when we saw that, and of course, we didnt let them go without a picture with the couple! really cute... at least our photo shoot was quite eventful...

oh yah, poor dead fish kena bird shit on his head.... n instead of anyone helping him with the cleaning up, cmi and i rushed to get a picture of it.... while helpful ah zai helped dead fish.... wahahahaha.

after which, i sent everybody back to liting's place and i had to leave shortly after that to meet sexy at his place to pass him his xmas pressie... since i was in the area. took photos of his new jack russell that his bro brought home (that looked like a dog with a jack russell face and a dalmation body). jacky the crazy b***h was so hyper and kept asking for my attention. i tried to take photos of monkey but he seemed very sleepy that day and just hid under the bro's bed and refused to come out even after i stuck my entire head and body under the bed. stupid dog.

anyway, sexy took a lift from me and followed me down to backfire king's place in serangoon to get back my bbq pit that i left at his house on my bday. when we had our backfire bbq. i tried to call n message backfire, but no reply. thank god sexy had backfire's mum's hp no, so he called and asked his mum where the loser was. luckily he was at home but asleep. on the way there, loser called a few times to say that he could not find my bbq pit and offered to get me a replacement. but i thought that he was just blur and did not search his balcony properly for it, so i said i was still coming down anyway. when i got there, no sign of my bbq pit. only a temp bbq pit in the rabbit's massive play area and my empty box.

was soooo peeved as my mum needed it for that night and i knew that she would not be too happy... but when i called to tell her that loser was going to buy a temp replacement for us, she said it was alright. apparently, loser's bro had used MY bbq pit to go for some fishing trip!! and it didnt help that their family had 3-4 more bbqs at their place after ours! and everyone was dead drunk, so i guess that would explain how someone would have take it home by accident. geez...

so we questioned his bro but still no sign or idea of where it could be. i just told loser to find it for me cause its not mine... if it was mine, i would not have minded so much, but i think my mum will have a fit. loser's bro gf came out sleepily in her pjs and looked at me. so being friendly, i waved to her but she just stared at me. such a friendly girl. anyway, she isnt a very nice person, from the time i met her on my bday at their place. heard from loser that she is in nus studying archi....wooo... :P

after that, it was off to the hairdressers then back home for rest and change......
