bimbo day.....

just had to write this down in case i forget the day's events like..... a few days later.. then my blog will be extra boring. haha!

today i had to rush big time for some jewellery shop project drawings... and i had to send the powerpoint presentation file to KL by 4pm.. and the network connections in KL are NOT reliable at all... no way. but luckily it got to the white lion's email safe and sound.... *phew!

initial plan was to go to the gym tonight but for some reason, probably due to the lack of sleep from the night before and the rushing of the work in the afternoon, my energy level just went downhill... probably also something to do with pms?? haha... anyway, ah meow was booking an appointment for pedicure in the evening... and i quickly butted into her tele-conversation and told her to book for me as well! after the appointment was confirmed, 1 and 1/2 hours later, i realised that i was supposed to go to the gym... so i obviously conveniently forgot about my workout for tonight. oh well. just when my energy level is -50.

so while on the way to town, ah zai calls to ask why i called the day before. (?!) no lar... just had to explain that i was in town so i just wanted to check if he was and so we could meet lor. anyway, he said hans wanted to meet for dinner, but he could not join us for dinner because his girlfriend's mother had cooked dinner for him already...... wah lau...talk about great planning... anyway, ah zai and pat went to BK at midpoint orchard to feed themselves, while ah meow patiently waited for my nails to dry before leaving the place with me! so sweet of her.. some more she was hungry... luckily i shared half of my yam yam's with her......... :P

met han's girlfriend... also an SQ stewedess and apparently she knows like.... so many people! she said she knows jingie and even knew that she is in SQ now.... waaa... Her name is Shirley... i think lar. my memory so bad nowadays...... anyway. she was from TP's ADM and if i'm not wrong, 1 year younger than me.... anyway, quite a pretty and sweet girl but also had an SCGS look... forgot to ask her if she was from there though. i think i used to have a friend who looked like her... i think lar. *scratches head*

headed to the new nydc outside heeren..... suuuuuuucccchhhh a big place, so many seats, but still had to wait. for a while lar... had a ham and pineapple focicca (sp?!) bread sandwich which i thought was quite good le! the sandwich was the size of a flattened small honeydew (that seems the only thing that i can think of that is of that size.... ) i was pretty impressed... ate up all the meat and good stuff in the sandwich first and cut away the rest of the bread into pieces, so when i was done with my food, ah zai looked at the mountain of bread on my plate and said....

"you did this because.......... you were quite full right?" pointing suspiciously at it....

"yar... something like that.... and im going to feed the birds too!"

the moment i said that, everyone seemed very interested in eating the left over bread. i could see hans looking very interested in it and asked if it was good.... he requested for a small piece but took the biggest scrap bread on my plate... (hmmm...) and decided that it was good after swallowing the whole piece. later... i got ah zai and the beng to try as well... all gave it good reviews... not bad not bad.... at least i know what to eat at nydc liao.... besides the desserts that is..... hmmm...

we all parted after that and patrick offered to drop me home (i stay so near after all and i think i would not use any diesel in his van anyway). so i grinned happily at his offer.... kekekekke... i asked pat to let me drive his brand new kangoo..... and he said ok! waaa.... so impressed. thought any guy would not let any girl near their "bao bei".... anyway.. that was the start of my bimbotic moments......

it started with....

"how to unlock har??" stares at the key, but decides to press something familiar.

when i got in to the car, i was looking for the light. which both ah zai and i could not find.... anyway, i managed to switch on the head lights.. (woohoo!) and fiddled with the continental signal switch before driving off.... next, was to find the clutch..... hahah! i was just staring at the 3 pedals at the bottom and i was wondering how to drive with them! luckily i managed to figure out but without hearing ah zai and pat laugh bombastically first. then i had to talk to myself out loud in order to remember how to drive a manual!!! just when i thought i was ready, i realised the seat was waaaaayyy too far when i stepped into the clutch fully.... somemore pat is like.... 1.8m++?? wah piang...

anyway, i had a very difficult time controlling the clutch and the accelerator simultaneously..... so stressed! i really didnt want the car to stall in the specialist car park... lucky no cars behind. lagi worse. i didnt know if i should have changed to 2nd gear at all! finally i thought i should not bother and just stick to 1st gear all the way down. pat and ah zai were laughing at me non stop especially when they heard the way i was stepping on the accelerator but the car was not moving! hahahaha... really bimbotic....

the next hurdle was the window switch. i could not find the window switch for like damn long..... when i finally did i was so relieved... then i had to do things one by one... like closing the window fully first before moving off. the 2 guys were commenting something about girls being able to multi task. anyway, i now know the problems van drivers experience... they cant see the back and it was virtually impossible to see the cars coming from the left!!! wow... now i know i should give way to van drivers... so jia lat...

managed to drive back to my place without stalling at all....... was sooo proud of myself for that.... ahahhahaa..but then again, 3 of us were laughing so hard that i was wondering how i managed to drive back...... pat kept saying that the turbo speed was damn good but obviously i could not really feel it cause i only went up to 3rd gear.. simi turbo?! hahah... but i thought the van was quite nice to drive le... my leg muscles should be naturally toned after driving that for 2 months cause the pedals were so heavy! can save money on gym liao... :D

oh. my parents might have to change to a new car... cause our current trajet is breaking down and to change certain parts and service and blah blah blah... would cost about $2,000... so not worth it lor. somemore our car 4 years old only... next year we pay up the full amount for this car... the hyundai people are suggesting to us to get a new car...... im trying to pyscho my parents to get the santa fe... though its an old model but i really really like it! so big and shiok! but only thing is...its 2.4litre so the road tax would cost like... $1,000 for 6 months. woohooo!

anyway im going to konk now.... still haven finish updating my blog! haiyah...... so slow. :D
