back and tired from the land of egg tarts......

my very first holiday with my crazy best friend chinki aka dirty monkey. i cant even remember how i came up with that name for her... but i vaguely remember that she was scratching herself on her tummy like a monkey....... ya.. i think that is how she earned that name....

anyhow, our trip went quite alright.... walked ALOT! like... from the time we step out of the hotel room... till the time we get back..... walking non-stop... and only resting when we have to eat or when i cannot take it anymore. i bought like...a TON of stuff.... varying from bags to 2 pairs of shoes and chocolates for friends and some toys. i really love the shoes from this brand called staccato and i bought a pair from there. actually dirty monkey pointed out that pair.. saying it was not bad looking... but i ended up buying it. :P tried to convince her to get the white version but was unsuccessful.

went to check out the nike store there as well... apparently their stuff varies a little from the singapore market's one. they have different colours for their jackets and other clothes... and i spotted this nike shox model.. that was the same as the mascara woman's one, but in the reverse colours of hers. i immediately fell in love with it and kept thinking about getting it for the first 2 days. decided to consult ah meow on whether i should get it and she convinced me to otherwise when i come back to singapore, and there is no such model, i will (i quote her exact words) bang walls. hahahaa.... anyhow, i got it in sogo in causeway bay where the whole nike section seemed to have turned upside down. there was only a 10% off the shoes and the discount was extended to the clothes and bags only if u had a hsbc credit card. but the people there are like.... buying the clothe in bundles. think they have got too much money.

my room is in an absolute mess at the moment as i just threw everything out of my luggage and stuffed my purchases somewhere in my room..... i nearly walked out of the house this afternoon without my

1. keys (still cant remember where i put them before i left for this trip)
2. local currency
3. ez link card. i also think im too used to the train system in hong kong because i took the wrong bus to orchard from chinatown..... managed to make my way down to town despite being a little drowsy from my cold medication.... so wanted to go for my exercise class because i feel so fat after being away for 4 days. but i think i would have dropped the weights on my foot or something. had to wear good old brother's jacket for some time too...

went for a pedicure as well.... cause it had been some time since i went for one.. and was horrifed when they told me i had to pay an additional $8 for the manicurist to help me stick my nail art stickers that i brought. i decided that i could do it myself and save that kind of money. liked my dark blue nail polish anyway. :P

im so happy that sylvester got into the final 2!!!!! i really liked taufik's rendition of "aint no sunshine"......... i could really feel his heart and soul in the song..... so soulful..... waaaa.... i wanted to die when i was watching sly's first and last performance though.......... he sounded.... quite weird. so cant wait for december the 1st!!!!!!!!!! arrrrrrhhhhhhhh!!!
