exciting thing that happened in Orchard Road today....

the most exciting part of today was when i was done at gym and was walking down to centrepoint to meet ah zai..... ah zai sms-ed me to say he was sitting on the stairs at the taxi stand there. must be got a lot of people throw coins at him while he was waiting for me... hhahaa

anyway, i was just outside the "Salvatore Feragamo" (wah lau, my spelling like very c.m.i lor!) store and was walking towards the traffic lights to cross over to Hereen. Just as i was about to reach the traffic light, i heard some shouting but i thought it was just some friends quarelling or something, so i ignored and continued walking. Besides, there were so many people around so i could see nothing when i looked up anyway. Suddenly, i heard someone running and this guy in some green shirt and jacket came dashing out from the crowd on my right and was running in the direction of cairnhill carpark. Before i could register what was happening, that guy narrowly missed hitting me, and tripped on the "flimsy string low barrier at the planters" on my left side and fell heavily on the pavement and the grass patch.... and just then, i heard a VERY loud "CHE_ - _Y" and these 3 young looking security guards rushing towards the bandit and before the bandit could get up and go any further, the 3 guys pinned him down WWF fashion and dragged him back to Taka...

After all the excitment died down, i was thinking to myself that if i had known that it was some shoplifter or pickpocket who was running away and he was so near me, i could have conveniently thrown my "chi-chi" green gym bag at him and stopped him too!!! wahahahhha... anyway, im such a drama queen... to think of such nonsense!

met ah zai and went into the next shopping centre open at that hour.... OG Orchard Point. no such luck for him to get any stylo clothes for Patrick's wedding.... anyway, kinda expected...so we walked down to Plaza to grab a bite at Cafe Cartel since i was hungry after my gym workout... ordered the funny drink called "Lime-me-up" whose name reminded me of the Wham's song and it tasted and looked like this damn nice ice cream i used to eat in Primary School... its the ice cream that is a weird shade of green on the outside but when that green layer is gone, there will be the vanilla flavour underneath! it really tasted like it!! nice.. but was so full from the fish and that together.. it resulted in me telling ah zai that i was so full that i wanted to walk! but he had to catch his last train at 12am so he suggested walking to Somerset station and from there, i walked home.... saw this really cute cat sitiing at the entrance of this shophouse along Killiney Road and for some reason, i thought the entire scene looked... so good. felt very inspired to sketch that scene with the cat, but was too tired and decided to write it down instead so at least i dont forget and can still sketch it another time. :)

on the small hill leading up to my place from Killiney Road, i heard footsteps on the grass patch next to me and i quickly turned around, thinking it might be some "Se Lang" but it turned out to be this cute friendly mongeral stray dog that always hangs around at Trademart. he flashed me a guilty look when i looked suspiciously at it but trotted off when i smiled at it. so much for being friendly.

so sleepy now and i dun seem to know what im typing.. so gotta go now... staying over at bunny's house tomorrow night so got to do some packing as well.... zzzzzzzz
