Today meow was very clever.....

finally went to the new gym outlet at One George Street... The view by the pool side was just breathtaking....... will definately go to the pool there to hang out and drink tea or something... provided got kahkis to hang with lar...

Decided to ask Miffy to come along to join me for the Pilates class at 740pm, but as usual, i forgot to bring the guest pass. so i had to call the gym to tell them about miffy. When we got there, it turned out that there was a new policy that a consultant has to talk to my guest. But after sitting down for barely 5 mins, i told the poor guy that we had to rush off for the class... as we walked past the workout room, i saw the cute butt instructor on stage... and i whispered to miffy that he is the cute one and to look out for him. After we changed and walked into class, it turned out that CBI [Cute Butt Instructor] was taking over the pilates class instead, and replacing with body balance class! cause the usual instructor went for some course in Sydney... woohooo! hahahha.

It's been so bloody long since i went for any sort of exercise, and i think my sense of balance also went haywire as well! Anyway, just tried my best and felt a tight sensation through my injured ankle but luckily it was nothing..... and for some funny reason, 3/4 of the people in class were wearing the free t-shirts from the gym!! And all i saw in front of me was a white sea with the words, "Fitness First" flashing at me!! Both Miffy and i were pretty amused by that, and we both insisted on taking the pretty pink yoga mats. hee.

CBI made us do some "stunts" that didnt seem to be possible but it turned out alright in the end..... we also tried the steam and the suana... the suana was super hot and i felt so breathless, so i hurried out cause i thought i was going to die of dehydration. so we went to the steam bath next. after sitting in there for a while, this huge burst of steam came out and totally covered the entire room! Again, i felt like i could not breathe, so we went out for a while. when the mist died down, we went in again. i think the girl inside thought that we were mad.

So after our bath, Miffy was enquiring about the prices to join, and in the end, she enquired at the counter as well. The receptionist pulled out the sales guy again and explained everything to her... and to my pleasant surprise, she joined on the spot! Now i have a new gym kahki!! heeheeheeee............

Today ah meow was very clever. She has this habit of putting her handphone holder NEXT to her drinking cup, and she superbly "dunked" her beautiful Nokia phone right into her cup!! I dunno what is the handphone model, but its the one with the 1.0 megapixel camera in it. And it was happily soaking in there for a good 5-10mins... before she realised it!! I heard this shriek from her table and i walked over to see her dismantling her phone apart....... sounds familiar?? just like that time when my gameboy went "swimming" in my waterproof interior bag. haha.. she was clearly traumatised for a long time and her phone could not be switched on.... or rather, the only thing that appeared was the NOKIA logo....... poor thing........

I saw my chinchilla trying to make his escape last night!! His whole head was sticking out of this 3.2cm x 10cm gap in the cage!! When i screamed, "What do you think you are doing?!!" the guilty fella just squeezed his head back quickly and scurried to some corner of the cage. I tell u ah, this guy is forever trying to make his escape. Dunno where he want to run to.

The other day at work, my boss told me to set up a perspective, cause Meow was on MC that day. When she told me that, and that is was urgent, i was like, "No shit....... I have not drawn a bloody MANUAL perspective in years!! How am i going to survive this!!" So i was staring at the blank piece of butter paper for a while, before i decided to look through some of meow's completed perspectives. After staring at it for a looooonng time, i searched through the dusty archives in my head for that time she taught me how to draw... using the scale ruler and by the correct proportion. I was drawing the set up.... set up only from 2-6pm...... yes, thats a damn long time, but its been......... 3 and a half years or more since i did any manual perspective!! When i was fnally done with it, i felt a little accomplished. I know, its nothing to be feeling good about, but i have conquered the stupid hurdle!! Siao......... Meow was half expecting me to call her to ask how to draw, but she felt that i could try to figure it out............. hehz.
