Seems like I have not blogged for the longest time… but anyway, my long weekend was burned out with work… have been sooooo busy since Saturday and super tired after all that… So wanted to go out on sat night cause I didn’t really feel like doing work, but no one seems to be free. So no life lor!!!! Haahhaha.. anyway, I was stuck at home all the time and we only managed to finish up our presentation work by 5 plus on Monday… and of course my time was also nicely taken up by the new “refugee” in my house, as you can see on the left, is a picture of the cutie pie… apparently, miffy’s friend found this almost 1 month old kitten outside his house and she is fostering it for now. Until she finds an owner. Then she remembers that she was going to Hong Kong for a holiday with her mum over the long weekend!!! So, guinea pig and kitty was at my place till she came back…

The kitten was super adorable but it’s claws were super sharp!!! Bunny came over on Sunday afternoon to see it and she thought it was cute but was so afraid to play with it cause of its sharp claws!! Overall, this cutie got many ooohhss and aahhhhss especially from my mum who never used to like such animals. I found her talking to the kitten occasionally and kept asking me to take photos of it!! But kittens being kittens, its so hard to get a picture of them!! So I resorted to taking videos of it. Oh, and i named it Pen Pen. But miffy doesn't seem to like the name... :P

My chinchillas and the guinea pig seemed irritated by its constant loud meows and for some reason, when I was feeding the chins and g.pig, the g.pig made this loud squeaking noise similar to the chinchilla’s squeaks! Shortly after, the chins also started making the same noise! Both the kitten and I were in shock for a while, and I didn’t understand what was happening!! Must be some secret code… or they were attempting to talk to each other… hmmm…

Anyway, managed to meet up with Moustache man and Backfire King for dinner last night. Was a last minute thing, so Bunny and Chinki could not make it and I met up cause I needed to go out badly!! Civilisation man!!! And for some weird reason, both Backfire and I drove to Orchard, leaving Moustache man cursing that nobody offered to pick him up. Had dinner at Sakura at Far East Plaza, and it was pretty crowded… Backfire asked the waitress to clear the table in the front for us and we stood outside talking about his ex girlfriends/scandals/crushes. Dunno how we started the topic but we ended up talking and laughing for a rather long time before we realized that we were still waiting for our table. Backfire was angry that the waitress didn’t call us to let us know that our table was ready, so he asked in this rather ah-long tone, “Can sit already or noooot??” So funny to see him act tough, when he is always so backfire…

After our very filling dinner, we played pool at Parklane. Me, being the super hopeless one at pool decided to try learning it again. My boss taught me with Chinki before but I totally forgot how to play after so many years. The 2 of them were really good teachers I must say!! Which resulted in me winning 2 games… but that was only because both of them had super bad luck in the games and I kept getting the ball in hand! Wahahahaha… I also had to do a super bimbotic action where the cue stick totally missed the ball!! I thought I was going to die of embarrassment. Backfire on the other hand, kept hitting the ball outside the table.. leaving it to bouce happily away.

After 1.5 hours of playing pool, Backfire decided to retreat home while Moustache Man and I went to Esplanade to hang out for the night. And…….. behold, I saw a suspicious looking couple holding hands!!! Turns out to be someone in IAD and he dropped his girlfriend’s hand the moment he saw me walking towards him!! If I was 2 seconds late, I would not have seen them holding hands lor!! Anyway, I kinda knew it cause they were so obvious about liking each other. Hahahahha… He looked suuuuuuppppeerrr sheepish and looked like he was going to faint from embarrassment any time. His girlfriend seemed oblivious to what was happening until he said hello…. I really thought I was going to die laughing at his sheepishness so I decided to leave them alone and said bye. But I was still laughing at him for the whole night…. Kekekekkee…

Just came back from lunch with Gaz at his office, and I kept asking him what buses to take to his office but he said he wasn’t very sure. So I decided to be clever and took bus 143. But after one bus stop, it turned left and I ended up at Toa Payoh Interchange!!! Super backfire I tell you. Lucky I don’t meet up with Backfire very often. Otherwise my life sure turn upside down one. Ended up taking a cab to his office and lucky the nice taxi driver found a short cut there… Gaz’s office was super huge and I could not find him despite asking 2 of the staff for directions! Bumped into Bao and she looked really shocked to see me. Hahaha… I still ended up waiting for him at the lobby while he finished his work. I updated him on who I saw last night and he was very angry!!!! I thought his blood pressure was going to shoot up but he was smiling all the time so it was alright lar. Heheheehe… so I guess I was quite happening after all?? :D
