This week has been so "happening". First i got scolded left-right-up-down-centre by Lao Ban, and i had to share that scolding with Mr Easy. That was on Monday. She was going on about our communication work flow between each other, and why i didn't seem to pass him the neccessary drawings and so on. Shall not go into detail, but basically, both of us didn't talk back or try to defend ourselves because we knew that she was on a scolding roll that night, so it will make matters worse by trying to fight back. But when she said,

"Don't the 2 of u talk to each other?? As in, talk to each other about work?? I always see the 2 of you talking....... but i don't know if it is about work?!!"

I was seriously dumbfounded, and i can't remember if my jaw dropped to the floor when i heard that, and it took me some time to calm and composure to refrain myself from screaming back. Thank god i didn't. When i narrated the "scolding" to Miss Hungry (who incidently has something going on already with Mr Easy for the past 3 weeks. heh heh.) over MSN, she said,

"Don't worry la. She always says that. It's like some standard stuff that she always says when she's angry. She always said that to me and Lady in the past!"

What to do. As friends and collegues, Mr Easy and I had to share the burden and get scolded together lor. Lol. Anyway, after Lao Ban calmed down, she talked to me nicely on Thursday to kinda "apologise" for her behaviour that night (when she scolded us) because she said she was feeling the pressure of not being able to hand over the project on the expected time. I was secretly happy that i didn't say anything back on Monday. Phew.

So, after my mishap with my contacts, the very next day, i thought i was going to site. So i dressed up appropriately with my black covered up shoes. These shoes were bought some 2 or 3 years ago when i went to Hong Kong for a holiday. And i seldom wear them as they are pretty formal. So i dug them out and wore it on Thursday. Apparently, the heel of my shoe has gotten weak and it came out! I only realised it when i was walking out to lunch with Mr Easy, and i slipped on the ramp that i was walking on........ Thank god i always walk beside the railings of stairs and ramps, knowing how clumsy i am. And i only noticed that my heel dropped out when i was inspecting my shoes during lunch.

Had to meet Ah Zai at Bugis for the Holga exhibition at Objectives, so when i was crossing the road from my office, i slipped on the road! Thank god i was not running (i remembered Ah Zai's advice NEVER to run across the road, even when there is a car coming towards you, because it's worse when you slip.) and i realised that the heel from the other shoe dropped out too!!! Sad case man. First my contacts, then my shoes. Went to the exhibition with him first and had to drag him to Mister Minit to get my heels fixed. It cost a wonderful $26.50 to fix it and Ah Zai commented that i could buy a new pair of shoes with that amount of money! But i remembered that i paid waaayy more for that pair of shoes, so i went ahead with it anyway.

After my KFC dinner, i didnt feel like going straight home despite it being 10.30pm already. So we walked in the drizzle to the Arts House and i said i wanted to look for the cute cat that will do a turn whenever i meow at it. We found it at the usual spot but it didnt turn as much as it did when we first saw it. But it was still quite cute and i was admiring it's different patches all over its body.

15th Oct 2005 Saturday
Studio work........

Decided to go down to Susie's studio at Laselle to help him with his final model for his project. All of us in the Longan/Ah Long gang came down surprisingly and we all wondered why we were being so nice to him........ on a Saturday somemore! I met up with the ipod earphones seller at Bedok, who turned out to be a Sec 4 looking young punk and i bought the earphones from him at $20. At least i can hear my music clearly now. Once i was at Bedok, i called Susie to ask him which bus to take to his school. He told me that Mr Sarcastic was going to drive down so i quickly called him, in hopes of getting a free ride down! My timing was perfect as he was walking to his car when i called! Woohoo!!

After he picked me up, i had to comment on everything in his car.... from the super matching cartoon bears in his car, from the seat belt, to the head rest and tissue holder! And due to some miscommunication, he thought i was going to pull the seat belt from the head rest instead of the usual place for the seat belts! So it resulted in the both of us squabbling and he wanting to drop me off at some secluded place with no public transport! He also said i was being very difficult when i commented that the air con was a little stuffy.

We drove through Geylang Serai and there was a huge jam throughout that whole stretch. I also asked him why did they hang up so many "bird cages" along the decorative arches. He said that they weren't bird cages but super ugly light fixtures! I think 2 Sagitarians cannot be together in the car for too long because we nearly killed each other with his sarcasm and my irritating-ness.

When we got to Laselle, everyone was surprised as to why the 2 of us turned up together. So Mr Sarcastic lied to everyone that i went to his house first and he drove me here. I played along with the joke until i decided to tell the truth during our $98 pizza hut dinner.

"blahblahblahblah................ So that is the real story as to why the 2 of us turned up here together."

"And that's the truth." Mr Sarcastic added after me.

As i looked around, everyone seemed to have this "i totally don't believe that story and i think the first story was true" look!! So i wailed, "Why is it that all of you don't believe me after i really tell the truth!!"

Anyway, i was in charge of cutting the staircases for his model and after i passed him the "spine" of the stairs to be sprayed grey, Susie walked out of the studio and Gaz and i heard this high pitched girl sounded scream shortly after! Both of us stared at each other with disbelief but continued cutting boards. Susie came back to the studio looking flustered,

"OMG! I can't believe i just did such a loser thing!! I actually sprayed at my hand because i didn't notice that the nozzle was facing the other side!! AAArrgghhh!!"

Nothing to say man.

And for some reason, i was feeling very tired and sleepy after our dinner (dunno if it was because i was too full or i am old already, cannot keep up with such work anymore) so i lazed around for a while and basically i didnt contribute much afterwards. Haha.... By 12.10am, Don, Ah Zai, Gaz and me had to leave because we didn't want to miss our last bus, so we headed down to City Hall by Bus 14 while i went to my usual bus stop to get my Bus 32. However after waiting for 15mins, i was resigned to my fate that i had missed the last bus. So i walked down to Boat Quay to grab a cab.

I have an offer to do a part time job, and its really flexible... but i also dunno if i should take it up. It involves working at night till about 12 midnight and the pay isnt great, but something in me tells me that i do want to take it up to have a more interesting lifestyle and also use this chance to save some money? Seriously considering it but no commitments yet. Hmmm....

I think, i will be getting the ipod Nano. Once again, is this a rash decision?? I dont care! Wahahahahaha!
