quite a boring week so i didn't have much to blog about.... met up with Gaz and Susie for dinner because Gaz needed to look for a fabric supplier in Paragon for his project. Went to Marche and had a rather expensive dinner.... paid like... $11 for this cod fish which was super salty!! But we shared a banana waffle dessert though... heh hehz. Susie was super excited when i asked him to tell me more about Thailand [my next holiday destination with family on 19th June] and Gaz was my secretary for the night because he insisted on helping me jot down the notes! I took over when i realised that he wrote quite a few things wrongly. haha....
The next day, Gaz met up with Ah Zai at Paragon again while i went to Rod Rod's cycling class at Capital Tower. I was in a super big rush before the class and after talking to Ah Zai over the phone in the changing room, i left my handphone on the bench!! After the class, i panicked when i couldn't find my phone... so i rushed to the reception where some kind soul turned it in! Phew. Big panic there man..... Since i was still kinda early, i decided to take a bus down to town to meet them instead of the taking the train. I waited super long for the stupid buses from Tanjong Pagar area.... and by the time the bus came, i ended up being late.
Met up with the 2 of them at the fabric shop at Paragon and had a late dinner at Cuppage. Gaz never knew that the food at Cuppage was so cheap [ok lar the price but one of the cheapest places in Orchard] and they opened till quite late! So no more late Coffee Club dinners for him... LOL. He was EXTREMELY thirsty for some reason, and had 1 cup of iced barley, and 2 cups of longan drinks!! And he still asked me why i call us "The Longan Gang". And he didnt want to order the lychee drink because he says it makes him cough. hmmm...
For some reason, i dunno why we started talking about yoga and Ah Zai doing his daily moon.... i mean, sun salutations... And shortly after that, Gaz started telling us about his army boys using the .... erm... bed "post" for some reasons at night... and i mistook the word "post" for "pose" because i thought he was still talking about yoga can! I sprawled on the table trying so hard to hide my super malu face and Gaz kept saying that i was very " square"!! Terrible.... After that, it went on to me joking that Ah Zai has a pain fetish [which i dunno is true or not but i made it up anyway] and Gaz tried to clarify the situation when he saw Ah Zai's confused face....
"It's painnnn fetish..... not paint ah!!"
Wah lau.. terrible lor... i forced them to walk to my house after that because i had to pass Ah Zai my yoga mat which was just collecting dust under my bed. As usual, my mum insisted that they drink something even though they kept saying no to my mum.
Wah... dunno which neighbour in my block is cooking some delicious delicacy... it's making me very hungry now lor!
Just caught Hotel Rwanda and Dirty Pretty Things on dvds over the weekends. Hotel Rwanda was such a touching and sad story... that i tried to tell myself such violence do not exist in real life but sad to say, that was a true story. Makes you wonder if you will be such a self less person if put in such a situation. As for Dirty Pretty Things, i found Audrey Tatouso gorgeous in the film! Loved the fact that it was a movie about London's dirty secrets and a moving love story as well. I was hugging my pillow so tightly at the ending when they parted at the airport..... Bohooohohohoohohooooo!! Lucky i didnt cry. hehz.
I think CSI episodes are getting quite scary. As in... the reason why people kill in the show are pretty scary... In Season 5, Catherine looks younger and more gorgeous than ever, while Sara has heavier make up on. The other 2 guys just looks the same. I think the older ones went for Botox or something. Tried to watch CSI NY but failed miserably because my brother and i could not stand the actors' faces!! I feel that they look quite irritating and the flashbacks shown were too fast and a little too.... colourised?? i dunno how to explain but we just could not sit through even half of the show. I will stick to Las Vegas' one anytime... Love the corny humour and Grisson's famous quotes. Or rather the quotes that he uses are famous ones.
