american idols..........

American idol concert was pretty good but very loud. My view of the giant tv screen at the top centre part of the stage was strategically blocked by this beautiful row of hanging speakers… we were about 15 mins late, with me telling the rest calmly that the concert is sure to start late so we need not hurry. We were also stuck in a horrible traffic jam on the way there from Chinatown and the taxi driver sped all the way there the moment he heard meow exclaim from her sms that the concert had started. We were supposed to meet the other friend, (coincidentally also called lilian) at 7.45pm. opps.

Was greeted by latoya’s screaming vocals… she was so sexy and she had a body to die for. She wore a black halter neck, bare-back top. From behind, she really looked naked. I nearly died when she did a pole-like dance next to JPL. It looked…… kinky. Haha…. Fantasia looked like a chicken backside with the orange dress she was wearing (description given by lilian) and Diana seemed to have lost some weight. Cant say the same for jpl and fantasia though… jpl did the cover of outkast’s hey ya and tried to dance. I said tried. I spotted him pulling up his really loose pants in the middle of his dance routine, and I would fall over laughing every time I saw it. I think he cant sing as well. He only does well for gimmicky songs.

Diana’s real voice sounded like Minnie mouse and I felt like I was watching mickey mouse club but she sang really well. I loved georgie huff and jasmine… george kept dancing by himself and really looked like he was enjoying himself on stage and sang really well too. Loved the duet he did with Jennifer Hudson. Jennifer’s hair was like a huge birds nest and I could not see her face at all. All I saw was her big big hair. She seemed to just blend into the band and for some reason hardly sang.

I was surprised by jasmine though. She was really good and to me, the best dancer in the whole group. She looked really sexy dancing and her rendition of Alicia key’s “if I aint got you” (is this the song title??) was great….. and not to mention that she was sooooo sooo cute.

Paid $3 for a nice comfy ride on busplus to city hall from the indoor stadium…. I was very turned off to squeeze into bus 16. I just couldn't do it. Im so spoiled. Hee… shared 3 extremely sinful cakes with meow and mr zac. Meow was telling us about this horrible Taiwanese show that she caught on cable tv while in shanghai. So scary.... now I know why some people dun like Taiwanese….. hee……. :D

Its going to be 12pm soon… wondering where I should run to for lunch…. Dun feel like sitting in the market alone. Better get back to some work first!
